I’ve been calling my MAGA Congressman and senators about tariffs several times a week. Asking them to take back their power to enact tariffs from the President. They won’t even explain why they support the tariffs. They are completely silent. I’ve had GOP representatives for years and never experienced this complete lack of response before.
Look, this is also extraordinarily sexist in nature...and not to say only girls want dolls and boys want cars. I cannot imagine how people would be responding if we said boys don't need more than 1 or 2 matchbox race cars.... How else will they have great races? And how will we have families if there are only 2 doll family members? And send them to their workplace where they work with their teams at the fisher price zoo or safari, or go to the Lincoln Logs garage and car repair, or the hospital to care for the people who need help?
There is something nearly amusing that a billionaire with no imagination telling families how their children should be creative.
Yes and no. First, you'd have to be talking about a man dealing in reality, and we know that's not the case. I don't know what your family's economic level was growing up, but we might get a single Barbie doll for Christmas, and I don't know that each of my sisters and I ever owned more than two or three total. This was long enough ago that my brothers wouldn't have been caught dead playing with those; I don't know if boys do now or not. What I do recall them having is "army men," solid plastic little green guys in various positions, but I'm pretty sure those came by the bag. I'm sure they must have gotten some things like Hot Wheels, but I don't remember much about them; they definitely wouldn't have gotten a dozen at the same time.
We had Tinker Toys and Erector sets that we all played with, and there were some other things, but I have to say, there probably weren't 30 toys among the six of us any given Christmas. The presents under the tree were from Mom & Dad, but Santa ALWAYS left a book with each stocking after filling them. Santa was smart.
The thing about pencils is just too off-the-wall to comprehend.
True. And the biggest mistake I am making is being distracted from the kidnapping, stealing from citizens from their SSI/SSDI $; destruction of the people in GAZA and Ukraine, our economy, and our planet; and the other highly outrageous unacceptable behaviors or Trump, Vance and all hired guns for those two vile men.
Agreed, which is exactly the point. Although...I'm honestly not sure how much of these bizarre statements are intentional on his part and how much it's just his stream of consciousness unchecked, which hid handlers let go on because it serves the purpose of distracting from the multitude of horrendous things being done at the same time.

So here's an interesting speculation I came across today. Don't know how accurate it is, but...?
